About the job
As an electrician, you work independently on different electrical installations. You use technical documentation to make sure systems are correctly installed, connected, tested, and working properly.
What you'll do
- Prepare and carry out electrical installation work
- Lay and connect systems according to technical documentation
- Check that installations work correctly and safely
- Test and commission electrical installations
- Spot and report technical deviations and faults
- Discuss progress with the team
- Support colleagues on more complex technical work
- Guide less experienced installers when needed
- Keep in contact with clients at the project site
- Keep developing your knowledge of electrical engineering
Depending on the project, you work alone or together with colleagues from the technical department. Work can take place at different project locations.
What we ask
- Completed technical education at MBO 3 level or higher (MBO is the Dutch system for vocational secondary education)
- Electrical engineering or a related field
- Technical knowledge of electrical installations
- VCA Basis certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for contractors) or willingness to obtain it
- Category B driving licence
- Good command of Dutch
- Independent and flexible approach to work
- Willingness to keep developing your professional knowledge
Experience as an electrician in the utility or industrial sector is a plus, but not required.
