Installation Electrician

About the job

You work as an electrician on electrical installations in public buildings. You carry out installation work on your own or as part of a team, on new builds and renovations.

What you'll do

• Install and connect electrical systems
• Lay cable trays and cabling
• Install and connect lighting, switching components, and distribution boards
• Install fire alarm, data, and security systems
• Work from technical drawings and diagrams
• Carry out inspection and testing work
• Fix minor faults and technical deviations

What we ask

• Technical education in electrical engineering, or proven work experience in this field
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for working on construction sites) or willingness to obtain it
• NEN 3140 certificate (Dutch standard for working safely with electricity) or willingness to obtain it
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams
• Category B driving licence
