Mechanical Service Team Lead

Do you want to lead a technical team and see the results of your work every day? In this role you manage a tight team, keep an eye on quality and safety, and make sure the mechanical installations in Aalsmeer run without problems. The client is a leading contractor that works with FloraHolland and is responsible for managing and maintaining all FloraHolland sites. It is a good opportunity to be part of something important in the Dutch flower and plant industry.

What you'll do

• You lead a team of 5 to 10 service technicians and organise their work.
• You coordinate breakdowns, extra work orders, and planned maintenance.
• You monitor planning, quality, safety, and progress.
• You are the contact person for the client, the contract manager, and colleagues on site.
• You coach technicians during their work and actively share knowledge.
• When needed, you carry out technical work yourself and find practical, effective solutions.

What we ask

• MBO 4 (Dutch vocational qualification, level 4) or equivalent, preferably in a mechanical field.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in service, maintenance, or technical work.
• Experience leading technicians or coordinating work.
• Knowledge of mechanical installations, safety rules, and maintenance processes.
• You work independently, pay attention to detail, and can work professionally with different people.

What we offer

• Salary from €3,500 to €5,000 gross per month.
• 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days (reduction of working hours days) based on a 40-hour week.
