Bus and commercial vehicle mechanic

About the job

You work as a mechanic servicing and repairing city buses and commercial vehicles, including a municipal fleet. You handle the full range of work, from mechanical and electrical repairs to technical inspections.

What you'll do

• Carry out APK inspections (the Dutch roadworthiness test) and clear vehicles for road use. If you don't have APK certification yet, you can get it at this workplace.
• Repair and maintain buses and commercial vehicles, including doors, seats, payment systems, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
• Overhaul engines and fix technical faults.
• Build and maintain vehicles.
