Road Installation Fitter

About the job

Do you prefer working outside rather than in an office, and do you want to do work that makes a real difference? This is the job for you. As a road installation fitter, you work on temporary traffic setups across the Netherlands. You make sure that intersections, diversions and traffic flows are safe and well organised. Together with your colleagues, you install complete setups, configure them and take them down when the work is done.

What you'll do

• Install and connect road installations
• Set up temporary traffic situations and diversions
• Work according to NEN 3140 and NEN 1010 standards
• Inspect and maintain equipment
• Work with colleagues on project sites
• Keep the work environment safe

What we ask

• Category B driving licence (required)
• Interest in technical work and working outdoors
• Flexibility, as evening and weekend work is possible
• Ability to work in a team and a sense of responsibility
• Own transport is useful
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction and technical work) or other certificates are a plus
• Category C/CE driving licence, or willingness to obtain one, is a big plus

What we offer

• Salary from €3,000 to €3,600 gross per month
• Supplements from 35% to 200% (significant extra earnings)
• Travel cost reimbursement (€0.23 per km)
• 26 or more days of holiday, with the option to build up to 31 days
