As an assembly mechanic you are responsible for keeping all machinery running reliably in a modern food and feed production environment.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical installations
• Find and fix faults in drives, pumps and conveyor lines
• Overhaul and replace mechanical parts such as bearings, shafts and drives
• Do metalwork and light welding
• Help develop technical improvements and prevent recurring breakdowns
• Support planned maintenance shutdowns and modifications

What we ask

• Proven experience as an assembly mechanic in industry or technical services
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, drive technology and industrial installations
• Experience troubleshooting production or process installations
• Able to work independently and as part of a technical team
• Hands-on approach: think in solutions and respond quickly when something breaks down
• Willing to take part in on-call duty (consignatie, a scheduled standby rota outside regular hours)

What we offer

• Salary from €3,200 to €4,400 gross per month, depending on experience and knowledge
• 13th month pay and good secondary benefits
