Trailer Mechanic

About the job

You work as a trailer mechanic in a workshop with modern equipment. You handle maintenance, repairs and inspections of different types of trailers.

What you'll do

• Carry out technical inspections and repairs on trailers
• Diagnose and fix faults in brake systems, lighting and hydraulic systems
• Do welding and structural work on trailer bodies
• Prepare trailers for APK (Dutch roadworthiness inspection) and other safety checks
• Test and calibrate components such as air suspension and ABS systems

What we ask

• Experience as a trailer mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic
• Knowledge of brake, hydraulic and electrical systems in trailers
• Ability to carry out welding and structural work
