About the job
As a Junior Process Operator, you get the chance to grow in a technical and sustainable work environment. You work alongside experienced operators and learn how to monitor installations, adjust processes, and spot deviations in time. As you build your knowledge and experience, you take on more responsibility.
You work from a central plant management environment, where different energy installations are monitored and controlled remotely. You also carry out tasks on site and work closely with colleagues responsible for managing and maintaining the installations.
What you'll do
- Monitor and operate various energy installations remotely (control room);
- Check process values, trends and messages, and identify deviations;
- Start up and shut down installations and partial processes according to set procedures;
- Carry out inspection rounds and check the current state of the installations;
- Report faults and deviations on time and take the right action;
- Handle and log incoming notifications;
- Document completed work, observations and deviations in the relevant systems;
- Make sure tasks and information are properly handed over to the next shift.
What we ask
We are looking for a technically capable and eager-to-learn candidate who wants to develop further in the process and energy sector. You do not need years of experience as an independent operator, but a solid technical and process foundation is important.
- Completed VAPRO B training (minimum); VAPRO is a Dutch vocational qualification for process operators;
- Completed VAPRO C training is preferred;
- Willing to work a 5-shift rotation;
- Technical mindset, eager to learn and keep developing;
- Accurate, safety-conscious and able to make decisions independently.

- Gross monthly salary from €4,178 to €5,200, including a 30% shift allowance;

- A 5-shift system, meaning you work an average of 33.6 hours per week;
- 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, paid on top of your salary);
- A possible bonus of up to 5% of your annual salary;
- A year-end payment of 4.5%;
- 23.5 days of leave, including health leave, plus 5 extra days of additional leave.
