Mobile Special Vehicles Mechanic

About the job

As a mobile special vehicles mechanic, you carry out inspections and repairs on terminal tractors and distribution vehicles at customer locations. Every day you leave from home in a company service van and work independently in your region.

What you'll do

• You inspect vehicles on-site and fix mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
• You carry out maintenance and service work to keep vehicles ready for reliable use
• You discuss any further work with the customer
• You log completed work digitally through a mobile app
• You stay in regular contact with service coordinators and other mechanics

What we ask

• Experience or knowledge of vehicle technology, diesel engines or electrical engineering
• Category B driving licence (category C is a plus); willingness to work in the field
• You work independently, focus on solving problems and communicate well with customers
