Metal Structure Fitter / Welder

About the job

You work independently. You assemble and weld metal structures using technical drawings. You work in a modern workshop on a variety of metal fabrication projects.

What you'll do

• Assemble structures based on technical drawings
• Weld using MIG/MAG, and TIG when needed
• Tack, finish-weld, and finish components
• Check dimensions and quality of your work
• Work metal using various tools and machines

What we ask

• Experience as a fitter, welder, or structural metalworker
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Experience with MIG/MAG welding
• You work independently and carefully, and you pay attention to quality and safety
