Mobile Rehabilitation Equipment Technician

About the job

You work as a mobile technician for rehabilitation equipment. You repair and service mobility scooters and wheelchairs at customers' homes. Every day you visit customers in the Nieuwegein area and make sure they can move around safely.

What you'll do

• Diagnose faults and problems reported by customers
• Repair and maintain mobility scooters and wheelchairs on-site at the customer's home
• Pick up and deliver rehabilitation equipment and explain how to use it to the customer
• Take part in 24-hour on-call service shifts (rotating, one week at a time, with extra pay)
• Enter data into the system based on completed work orders

What we ask

• Experience as a mechanic, service technician, or technician (for example in automotive, electrical, mechatronics, or bicycle repair)
• Category B driving licence
• Good people skills: calm, clear in communication, and helpful when working with people who depend on their equipment
