Production Operator

Location: Nijverdal (Overijssel)

About the job

As an Operator, you are responsible for your production line. You work in the production of technical textiles with specific properties, such as fire resistance and protection against extreme conditions.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate and adjust production machines
• Monitor quality at different stages of the process
• Carry out checks and record production data
• Detect and fix minor faults
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks
• Work in line with health and safety, quality and internal company rules
• Run trials for new products and processes
• Help improve the production process
• Carry out administrative, logistics and housekeeping tasks
• Help create a safe and pleasant workplace

WORKING HOURS

You work a clear 3-shift rotation

Night shift

Monday to Friday (until morning)

22:30 to 06:00

Afternoon shift

Monday to Friday

14:00 to 22:30

Morning shift

Monday to Friday

06:00 to 14:00

After three weeks, the schedule starts again. Weekends are free.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

• Gross monthly salary from €3,255.74 to €3,980.75, including a 19.5% shift allowance
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory annual bonus of 8% of your gross salary)
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 net per kilometre
• 25 vacation days
• 156 hours ADV per year at full-time
• Extra shift day
• Extra leave based on age from 47 onwards

What we ask

We are looking for an operator who takes responsibility, values quality and wants to grow.

• Thinking and working level of MBO (Dutch vocational education) level 2 or 3
• Experience in a production environment is a plus
• Available full-time in a 3-shift system
• Good command of the Dutch language
• Awareness of health and safety rules and a focus on quality
• Accurate, reliable and able to work in a team
• Positive attitude and flexibility
• Motivation to develop further in process technology
