About the job

We are looking for a Machine Operator for the Mixing Department at an international production company in Drachten. You are an important part of the production process. Together with your colleagues, you make sure that raw materials are processed into high-quality rubber compounds, following set recipes. These materials are used in industrial applications all over the world.

You work in a 3-shift rotation, receive a good shift allowance, and have real opportunities to grow.

As a Machine Operator in the mixing department, you prepare, operate, and monitor the production process. You work with large industrial mixing installations where different raw materials are processed into a high-quality end product. You make sure the process runs safely, the machines work properly, and quality stays consistent.

What you'll do

• Operate and set up industrial mixing installations.
• Prepare and add raw materials according to the recipe.
• Check and adjust process settings and parameters.
• Monitor quality during the production process.
• Carry out inspections and record production data.
• Detect and fix minor faults.
• Carry out cleaning and maintenance work on the installation.
• Work together with colleagues from production, logistics, and the technical department.

As an operator, you work with modern production installations and various technical systems. You will work with:

• Large industrial mixing machines.
• Automatic dosing and weighing systems.
• Material transport and feed systems.
• Production installations with different settings.
• Quality control and measuring equipment.

You will learn how raw materials are turned into a product used in industry all over the world.

We are looking for someone who has

• An MBO (Dutch intermediate vocational education) level of thinking and working, with a technical, production, or operator background as a plus.
• Experience as a machine operator, production operator, or technical production worker.
• A technical mindset and interest in machines.
• A precise and safe way of working.
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation.

If you do not have a formal operator qualification but you do have experience in a production environment, we still encourage you to get in touch.
