About the job

As a Packaging Operator, you prepare, set up, operate and monitor different packaging lines. You work with consumer packaging such as cans, sachets and bag-in-box. You make sure the packaging process runs safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards.

You monitor the process, carry out quality checks and act when you spot deviations or faults. You also do first-level maintenance, cleaning work and record production and quality data. • Detect, analyse and fix faults and process disruptions.
  • Carry out first-level maintenance and cleaning work.
  • Record production, quality and process data.
  • Actively contribute to improving safety, quality and efficiency.
  • Work in a shift team of around 26 people, including operators, technical operators, operational experts and team leaders.

What we ask

  • Thinking and working level of at least MBO 3 (Dutch vocational qualification, level 3); MBO 4 is a plus.
  • Several years of experience as an operator, process operator or production technician in an industrial setting.
  • Experience in the food, pharmaceutical or similar industry is a strong plus.
  • A proactive and flexible attitude; you switch easily between different tasks.
  • You enjoy working in a team and contributing to shared results.
  • Good command of Dutch; English is a plus.

What we offer

  • Gross base salary including shift allowance of €4,005 to €5,111 gross per month, depending on experience.
  • Shift allowance of 28.7%.
  • Year-end bonus of 5%.
  • Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a standard Dutch payment on top of your salary) of 8%.
  • Full-time position (33.6 hours per week) in a fixed 5-shift rotation.
  • Temporary contract until 31 December 2026.
  • 25 days of holiday.
  • Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre.
  • Depending on the role and the client, reference checks and verification of diplomas and certificates may be part of the recruitment process.
