Process Operator B, 5-shift

About the job

As a Process Operator B in Hoogeveen, you work in cheese production. From a control room you monitor installations, follow the process, and respond to deviations or failures. You combine process monitoring with technical work and quality control.

What you'll do

• Operate, monitor, and adjust the production process
• Work from a measurement and control centre
• Check machines, installations, and process values
• Detect and fix mechanical, electrical, and software faults
• Carry out preventive maintenance
• Perform quality checks
• Record production and process data
• Work according to safety, hygiene, and quality rules
• Work together with other operators, mechanics, and production staff to keep the process safe and running smoothly

5-shift schedule

You work in a 5-shift rotation. Working hours

• Morning shift: 07:00 - 15:00
• Afternoon shift: 15:00 - 23:00
• Night shift: 23:00 - 05:00

The 5-shift schedule means you regularly have several days off in a row.

What we ask

• MBO-3 (Dutch vocational qualification, level 3), for example VAPRO B/C or equivalent
• At least 4 years of experience as a (process) operator in the food industry
• Willing to work in a 5-shift rotation
• Good command of Dutch
• Interest in process optimisation and quality control
• Knowledge of HACCP principles

Note: if you do not yet have the required qualification or experience, the client company (opdrachtgever) offers the option to train as a certified VAPRO B process operator in the dairy industry, in cooperation with an MBO school.

What we offer

• Salary from €4,291 to €6,000 gross per month, including allowances and profit sharing
• Shift allowance of 28.7%
• Annual end-of-year bonus of 5%
• Average of 33.6 hours per week in the 5-shift system
• Travel reimbursement: €16.10 net per day
• Fixed-term contract with prospect of permanent employment
• Option to complete a fully paid BBL training (work-based learning programme) as a Process Operator B
