Process Operator Day Shift

About the job

You want to keep working with interesting technology as a process operator, but you also want more regularity and a better work-life balance. In this role you work in the chemical industry on day shifts, running advanced production processes. You monitor and optimise installations, work across different process stages, and make sure production runs safely and efficiently.

You get a responsible role in a technical environment. Your knowledge of processes and installations directly contributes to reliable production.

As a Process Operator you are responsible for running the production process safely and efficiently. You operate and control installations, monitor quality, and step in when processes need correction.

What you'll do

• Operate, control and adjust production installations
• Monitor process parameters and spot deviations
• Carry out quality checks and process production data
• Prepare and carry out production work according to set procedures
• Perform first-level maintenance and minor technical tasks
• Locate and fix process disruptions
• Keep the workplace safe and clean, in line with health and safety rules and quality standards
• Help develop improvements to the production process

You work closely with other operators, technical services and other departments. Your technical knowledge and understanding of processes keep the installations running at their best.

What we ask

We are looking for a process operator who enjoys working in a technical production environment and takes ownership of the process.

You have

• A completed qualification in process technology, such as VAPRO B, VAPRO C, AOT or MBO Procestechniek (Dutch vocational qualifications in process technology)
• Experience as an operator in a production environment
• Technical knowledge and understanding of chemical processes
• A safe and precise way of working
• The ability to spot deviations independently and solve problems

Experience in the chemical industry is a plus, but operators from the food, energy, plastics, paper or other process industries are also welcome to apply.
