About the job
As a process operator, you and your colleagues keep production running safely and smoothly. Around 70% of your time is in the control room, 30% on the production floor. You start in the grinding department and gradually learn the full production process, supported by a dedicated mentor.
What you'll do
- Operate, monitor and adjust the production process from the control room
- Check the process on the production floor, spot deviations and fix first-level faults
- Carry out minor technical tasks and adjust machines and installations
- Take product samples and retention samples, and monitor finished product quality
- Operate a forklift, do housekeeping and keep the workplace safe and tidy
What we ask
- A vocational education level or equivalent way of thinking (MBO, Dutch secondary vocational education)
- A Vapro A or B certificate is welcome but not required
- Technical interest and a practical ability to understand processes and installations quickly
- During the onboarding period you work 2 shifts, then you move to 3 shifts with a maximum of 3 consecutive night shifts in a 38-hour working week
- A willingness to learn and the motivation to master different parts of the production process
- The ability to respond quickly and think in solutions when deviations or faults occur
- Reliability, a sense of responsibility and a fit with a direct and no-nonsense working environment
What we offer
- A salary of €3,837 to €4,560 gross per month, including shift allowance, depending on education and experience
- 4% year-end bonus (eindejaarsuitkering, a standard Dutch annual bonus)
