Carpenter's Assistant / Facade Cladding Installer

About the job

Do you want to grow as a carpenter and work on facade projects? As a carpenter's assistant, you learn the trade on the job, working alongside experienced colleagues. You work at different construction sites in the middle of the Netherlands, in two-person teams.

What you'll do

• Assist with fitting battens or mounting systems on facades
• Help install facade cladding according to quality requirements
• Help with finishing work, such as fitting cover strips and other details
• Assist with building timber frame walls (HSB)
• Prepare and hand out materials and tools

Working hours: 07:00 to around 15:00.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.

What we ask

• MBO (Dutch intermediate vocational education) level of thinking or equivalent
• You work independently, communicate well and present yourself professionally
• You can work well in a team
• Category B driving licence
• Knowledge of the Dutch language

What we offer

• Pay from €15.00 to €21.00 gross per hour, depending on age, CAO (collective labour agreement) and experience
• Opportunities to grow, including gaining certificates
• Chance of a permanent contract if you perform well
