Glass Production Worker
As a glass production worker, you help with processing and finishing glass. You start at one station and gradually learn other tasks and machines.
What you'll do
- Operate and set up production machines
- Cut and process glass
- Bend and process aluminium profiles
- Assemble glass products
- Operate machines, including the sealing machine
- Carry out quality checks
- Report minor machine faults
- Work safely and keep your workstation tidy
- Learn to work at multiple stations
You work an average of 38 hours a week in a 3-shift rotation. Shifts rotate between morning, afternoon and night: 05:30-14:00, 14:00-22:30 and 22:30-05:30. On Friday the afternoon shift ends at 23:00. The night shift on Sunday starts earlier because the machines need to be started up.

- Motivated to keep developing
- German, English or Dutch language skills
- Experience in the glass industry is not required. What matters more is commitment, willingness to learn and openness to a long-term working relationship
What we offer
- €15.92 gross per hour plus a 23% shift allowance, which comes to €19.58 gross per hour
- €0.25 travel cost reimbursement per kilometre, from the first kilometre up to a maximum of 50 kilometres one way
- 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch supplement paid on top of your wages)
- Full-time contract, average 38 hours a week
- Fixed-term contract with prospect of permanent employment
- Choice between weekly or four-weekly pay

The client company in Venlo processes and finishes glass for a wide range of uses, from homes and hotels to large buildings and special projects. You work in a modern production environment as part of an international team. The atmosphere is open and relaxed. The work is demanding, but there is also time to talk and have a laugh with colleagues. The Venlo site is well connected to, among other places, Tegelen, Blerick, Sevenum, Horst, Reuver, Baarlo and Venray.
