Groundworks / Civil Infrastructure Worker

About the job

You work on infrastructure projects: earthworks, road construction, and sewage work. You are involved from the start of a project all the way to final completion.

What you'll do

• Carry out earthworks, paving, and sewage work
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Mark out and prepare the site before work begins
• Record hours worked and materials used
• Keep safety and quality standards on the construction site

What we ask

• Experience in civil infrastructure work (GWW, the Dutch sector for groundworks, road, and water construction) or a strong motivation to learn the trade
• Driving licence category B (category BE is a plus)
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for construction sites) or willingness to obtain it; Safe Working on Roads certificate or willingness to obtain it
