Refrigeration Engineer

About the job

You work on modern refrigeration and freezer systems in supermarkets. You keep these systems running well and you take part in projects with eco-friendly cooling, including natural refrigerants like CO2.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair complex refrigeration and freezer systems, including connected heating systems.
• Find and fix faults using modern diagnostic software.
• Talk to customers about the condition of their systems and give them technical support.
• Work on green projects, such as heat recovery systems and CO2 installations.
• Work together with other engineers and planners to keep work organised.

What we ask

• Technical education at MBO level (Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a trade certificate).
• Category B driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Experience with refrigeration and freezer systems.
• Able to analyse and fix faults on your own.
• Calm and professional way of working, also under pressure.

What we offer

• Salary from €2,800 to €3,600 gross per month.
• Permanent contract.
• Full time, 32 to 40 hours per week.
• 25 days of holiday and 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory bonus paid once a year).
