Window and Door Technician

About the job

You work as a window and door frame technician at private customers and businesses. Every day you visit different addresses in your region. You do inspections and small repairs.

What you'll do

• Check, adjust and lubricate window and door fittings
• Replace small parts such as end caps and seals
• Clean and lubricate moving parts
• Do small repairs on window and door frames
• Help customers and log your work using a tablet or phone

What we ask

• Category B driving licence
• Good command of Dutch
• Physically fit for light lifting and climbing stairs
• VOG certificate (certificate of good conduct, can be obtained) and VCA (Dutch safety certificate for construction work) are a plus
• Experience as a technician is a plus, but not required

Salary and conditions

• Salary from €2,800 to €3,300 net per month
• 24 holiday days plus 11.5 ATV days (reduction of working hours days), 35.5 free days in total
• 8% holiday allowance
• Annual bonus of €350 net
• Daily allowance of €6.80 net for coffee
• €50 net bonus per quarter if you have no sick leave
• Good pension (employer contributes 15.9%)
• Work clothing and shoes provided by the employer
• Tablet or work phone
• Option to use a company van with tools (to be agreed)
• Opportunities to grow into inspector, planner or team leader
• Weekdays only, weekends off
