Technical Service Engineer – Healthcare Facilities

About the job

You keep technical installations running in healthcare buildings. You work independently. You carry out preventive inspections and fix breakdowns, find the cause of faults, and make sure they are solved properly. You stay in contact with the client and suggest good, lasting solutions.

The work varies: inspections, adjustments, maintenance, and flagging possible improvements or extra work. You take part in emergency standby shifts and write clear reports of everything you do.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on technical installations, independently
• Analyse and fix faults
• Inspect and adjust installations
• Flag possible improvements or additional work
• Keep in contact with the client and advise on lasting solutions
• Take part in emergency standby shifts
• Document your work carefully in reports and administrative records

What we ask

• A completed technical vocational qualification at MBO (Dutch vocational education) level 3 or higher in a relevant field
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in technical service and maintenance
• Solid knowledge of installation technology
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Client-focused and getting things done
• Willing to take standby shifts
• Problem-solving approach, takes initiative, eye for quality, good at planning and organising

• Monthly salary of €3,000 to €4,600 gross, depending on experience
• 38 days off per year, including 13 ADV days (ADV: paid days off in exchange for working full hours, common in Dutch CAO agreements)
