Structural fitter / welder

About the job

You work every day on assembling and welding steel structures. You read technical drawings and translate them into the finished product, with attention to detail on every part. The company designs, produces, maintains and installs steel structures. Projects vary across construction, infrastructure, industry, and road and waterway building. You work on unique projects in special locations, such as tunnels, airports and railway lines.

What you'll do

• Assemble and weld steel structures based on technical drawings.
• Perform MIG/MAG welding and tack welding (hechtlassen).
• Check parts for dimensions, weld quality and overall quality.
• Cut, bend and shape steel using machines and tools.
• Finish and prepare structures for further processing or installation.

What we ask

• MBO diploma (Dutch vocational qualification, level 3 or 4) in metalworking or welding.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Category B driving licence.

• Gross salary of €2,700 to €3,400 per month, depending on experience.
