Maintenance Mechanic

About the job

You work as a mechanic in the technical department of a production facility in Edam. Your job is to keep the machines running and fix breakdowns quickly.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive maintenance on machines and installations
• Find and fix mechanical faults
• Optimise and improve the machine park
• Take part in technical improvement projects on the production floor
• Support upgrades and equipment replacements (emergency standby once every 4 weeks)

What we ask

• Several years of experience in a technical role
• Hands-on knowledge of tools and the ability to solve technical problems on your own
• Willingness to be on emergency standby once every 4 weeks and flexibility with working hours
