**About the job**

As a Maintenance Mechanic you carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic installations. You keep the production process running and fix breakdowns quickly.

**What you'll do**

• Carry out maintenance and inspections on pumps, centrifuges, fans and mixers, including shaft seals
• Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns
• Carry out overhaul work on rotating machinery
• Work according to a daily and weekly schedule and pick up urgent tasks straight away
• Take part in planned shutdowns of around 5 days
• Make sure the production process is safe, high quality and uninterrupted
• Stay flexible for ad hoc situations and occasional Saturday work

**What we ask**

• MBO 4 (Dutch vocational qualification, level 4) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in a chemical or process technology environment
• Technical knowledge and hands-on experience with rotating machinery
• Ability to handle pressure, flexibility and a proactive attitude
• Willingness to be on call for technical standby duty (consignatie) when needed
• Eager to learn and quick to apply new knowledge in practice

• Salary from €4,000 to €6,000 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience
