Process Operator

About the job

The client in Apeldoorn has been developing and producing high-quality specialty chemicals and polymers for medical use for over 30 years. Their products go to hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and research labs around the world. We are looking for a process operator to join the production team.

What you'll do

• Carry out and record different steps in the process, such as polymerisation, washing and separations.
• Operate equipment (reactors, washing columns, filtration units) and do hands-on work such as filling, transferring and material analysis.
• Keep paper batch records and pay close attention to detail.
• Take part in improving processes and increasing efficiency.
• Take responsibility for your own work and coordinate with the senior operator.

What we ask

• MBO diploma (Dutch vocational qualification) in process technology (VAPRO A/B) or comparable experience.
• Experience in a production environment and knowledge of chemistry or process technology.
• Good command of Dutch, spoken and written, and ability to understand instructions in English.
• Ability to work in a team, with a flexible and proactive attitude.
• Safe, accurate and analytical way of working.
• Living within 1 hour of Apeldoorn or willing to relocate.

• Starting salary of at least €3,200 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience.
