Process Operator – 3 Shifts

About the job

You work as a process operator in a 3-shift system at a production facility in Milsbeek. You operate large machines and installations, and you keep an eye on production quality and safety on the shop floor.

Note: the production process uses natural raw materials, including horse manure. There is a noticeable smell on the shop floor. Before you start, you can do a trial day to get a feel for the conditions.

What you'll do

• Operate, adjust and optimise large machines and production installations, and respond immediately to deviations
• Carry out process checks and quality measurements, and report points for improvement
• Detect and fix first-level deviations and faults to keep downtime to a minimum
• Carry out minor technical repairs to keep production running
• Actively take part in improving the process and quality by sharing your own ideas

What we ask

• Experience as an operator or in a technical production environment
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
• Technical thinking and a hands-on approach
• Attention to quality, safety and hygiene
• Own transport to Milsbeek (required because of shift work)
• Good command of Dutch and/or English, spoken and written

What we offer

• Gross pay of €3,350 to €3,700 per 4 weeks at full-time hours
• Temporary contract with a clear prospect of a permanent position
• Working week of 36 to 40 hours, to be agreed
• Shift allowance of 19.31% and overtime allowances up to 200%
• Year-end bonus of 7.69% on top of base pay
• Vakantiegeld (holiday pay, 8% of gross annual salary) of 8%, 25 vacation days and around 13 ADV days (ADV: scheduled days off as part of a shorter working week arrangement)
• Pension accrual via StiPP and travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 net per km
