Production Operator

About the job

You join a technically advanced production organisation with a strong focus on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement. As a Production Operator you are an important part of this modern factory, where production runs around the clock. You work with grinding, mixing and extrusion processes, and you manage and monitor them.

What you'll do

• Operate, monitor and adjust various process installations.
• Make sure machines are switched over and adjusted on time when products change.
• Assess how machines are running and check product quality at different stages of the process.
• Solve minor deviations and faults independently to prevent production losses.
• Keep the workplace clean and safe in line with safety standards.
• Take an active part in improving processes for efficiency, safety and quality.
• Work with your shift colleagues to keep processes running smoothly.

What we ask

We are looking for an experienced, technically skilled operator who takes responsibility and is comfortable working in a varied production environment.

• Education or experience at MBO level (Dutch intermediate vocational education, roughly equivalent to a technical diploma or trade qualification).
• Experience with process operation and production processes.
• Practical technical skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical thinking and a quick response when faults occur.
• Flexibility, focus on quality and accuracy in your work.
• Able to work in a team, but also independently.
• Willingness to work in a 5-shift rotation is required.
