Process Operator

About the job

As a process operator, you make sure the production process runs safely and without disruptions. You operate and monitor various installations and check continuously that the process stays within the required parameters. You combine technical knowledge with responsibility. When something is off, you look for the cause and act.

What you'll do

• Start, operate, monitor and shut down production installations
• Monitor process values and technical parameters
• Detect and analyse deviations in the production process
• Adjust the installation when needed
• Locate and, where possible, fix technical faults
• Carry out safety and quality checks
• Record and report process data and relevant events
• Take part in finding technical and process improvements
• Pass on important information to colleagues at shift handover
• Keep the workplace safe and tidy

What we ask

• Completed technical education at MBO level (Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a technical college diploma)
• At least a few years of experience as a process operator
• Experience in the process industry or a similar production environment
• Technical and analytical ability
• Strong awareness of safety rules
• Independent attitude and a sense of responsibility
• Ability to stay calm during breakdowns and process deviations
• Good command of Dutch
• Enough English to understand technical information
• Cooperative attitude and interest in improving processes
