Do you like working in a technical environment where processes, installations and sustainability come together?

In this role you are responsible for a biological process installation. Organic waste streams are converted into usable energy and raw materials. This is not a standard production job. It is an all-round operator role with a lot of technology, responsibility and independence. You work mainly day shifts and share on-call duties with your colleagues.

What you'll do

As a Process Operator you monitor and manage the entire process installation. You keep an overview, make adjustments where needed and make sure everything runs safely and stably.

Your tasks include

• Monitoring and operating the process installation
• Doing inspection rounds and analysing process data
• Detecting and fixing faults
• Carrying out first-level maintenance
• Supervising external fitters and suppliers
• Working with pumps, pipe systems, tanks and process installations
• Recording process data and deviations
• Taking part in discussions about process improvements

What we ask

It is important that you have an interest in sustainability. We also ask:

• MBO-level (vocational secondary education) thinking or equivalent, preferably in a technical direction
• Experience as a process operator or operator in industry
• A technical mindset and a sense of responsibility
• Willingness to take on on-call duties
• Experience with biological, chemical or energy processes is a plus
• VAPRO A/B qualification (a Dutch process operator certification) or comparable experience is a plus

What we offer

• Gross basic salary of €3,200 to €4,200 per month
• On-call allowance (approximately €400 per 4 to 5 weeks)
• 25 vacation days
• 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory annual bonus paid on top of your salary)
