Process Operator (5-shift)
About the job
As a Process Operator in a 5-shift rotation, you carry real responsibility. You play a key role in the safe and smooth running of this biodiesel factory. You work both on the factory floor and from the control room. You oversee the entire production process.
You work with complex processes and installations, including reactor installations, distillation, separation, heating and cooling processes. You also operate various utilities, including steam, compressed air, nitrogen and cooling water systems. These are continuously monitored and controlled using a modern DCS (Distributed Control System).
What you'll do
- Operate, monitor and optimise automated process installations
- Monitor process parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow and quality
- Carry out inspection rounds in the factory
- Detect and resolve process disturbances and first-line failures
- Work safely in line with HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) guidelines
- Contribute to process improvement and optimisation

- A completed MBO3 Operator B diploma (Dutch vocational qualification, level 3)
- At least 5 years of experience in a complex production environment
- Willingness to work in a 5-shift rotation
- A very good command of the Dutch language
What we offer
- A gross monthly salary of €4,500 to €5,500, including a 30% shift allowance
- A bonus scheme of up to 10% of gross annual salary
- A monthly flat-rate allowance of €100 for changing clothes
- Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per km (maximum 50 km one way)
- A one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment
