Process Operator

About the job

You have a technical mindset and want to work where high-quality cocoa products are processed into ingredients for the food industry. We are looking for a Process Operator for a leading cocoa producer. In this role you monitor, control and optimise complex production processes.

What you'll do

• Operate, check and adjust production installations from the control room and directly on the production floor.
• Monitor the production process and step in when there are deviations or breakdowns.
• Carry out quality checks on raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products.
• Perform first-level maintenance and support the technical team during more serious breakdowns.
• Record production data and report irregularities.
• Actively contribute to improving processes in the areas of safety, quality and efficiency.
• Make sure safety, hygiene and quality rules are followed.

What we ask

• Completed relevant education in process technology, VAPRO A/B (Dutch vocational qualifications for process operators) or equivalent.
• Experience as a Process Operator in a production or process environment.
• A technical mindset and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Knowledge of automated production processes.
• Good command of Dutch.
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Experience in the food industry is a plus.
