Process Operator - Chemistry

Do you want to control complex chemical processes? As a process operator, you will run and monitor cholesterol production processes. This international company makes ingredients for the pharmaceutical and food industries. At the plant in Veenendaal, they produce vitamin D and cholesterol using complex, partly automated chemical processes. Your job is to steer these processes, make corrections when needed, and check product quality. You will work across several departments, so the work is varied. It is a great role if you want to make full use of your operator skills.

What you'll do

• Start up, operate, and adjust processes
• Keep your department and workstation clean
• Complete production documentation
• Enter production data into SAP

What we ask

We are looking for a process operator who works well in a team but can also work independently. You also have:

• Proven experience in a production environment as a (process) operator
• A completed technical education at mbo-3/4 level (Dutch vocational qualification), for example vapro B/C
• Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is a plus

What we offer

As a process operator in a relatively small team, you carry a lot of responsibility. The work is varied and demanding. You also get:

• A gross salary of €3,500 to €4,200 per month, including shift allowance
• A fixed 13th month salary
• 25 days of holiday
• A personal budget of €1,100 plus 2.4% of your annual salary per year
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per km
• A 38-hour working week
