About the job
As a process operator you are responsible for the production of catalysts. You coordinate the process both on the factory floor and from the control room. You work in a 5-shift system.
You work with complex chemical processes, including mixing, leaching, precipitation, extrusion and spray drying. The catalysts are used for two purposes: cracking crude oil and desulfurizing fuels. Safety comes first.
What you'll do
- Control and monitor the production process from the control room and on the factory floor
- Handle first-line troubleshooting and carry out maintenance tasks
- Take samples and perform quality analyses
- Keep the installation and work area clean
- Take part in improving processes and safety
What we ask
You have good analytical skills and a strong focus on safety. We also ask:
- At least a completed VAPRO B training (a Dutch process operator qualification) or equivalent
- Preferably experience in the chemical industry in a similar role
- Excellent command of the Dutch language
- BHV (company emergency response) and VCA (Dutch safety certificate) certificates, or willingness to obtain them
- Full availability in a 5-shift system
What we offer
- Gross base salary of €4,000 to €4,800 per month, including a 28.5% shift allowance
- 23 vacation days
- 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid once a year)
- Holiday compensation of 3.5%, which can be exchanged for ATV hours (time off in lieu)
- Fixed year-end bonus of 7.5%
