Do you like working in a real industrial setting and don't mind getting your hands dirty? This could be a great fit.

You will monitor the production of granulated fertilisers, both on the factory floor and from the control room. You'll work for an international company that specialises in granulated fertilisers. The company is growing, and as a Process Operator you play an important part in that.

At the plant in Amsterdam you work with complex chemical processes and operate installations. You take part in grinding, mixing, granulating, heating, sieving and drying phosphates into a finished product. Besides monitoring processes, you also carry out small repairs and fix faults. You are expected to take an active role in improving processes and working methods. In short, varied and demanding work with plenty of room to grow.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and monitor the production process from the factory floor and the control room
• Carry out minor repairs on process installations
• Take samples as a regular part of the job
• Actively look for improvements and take part in improvement projects

What we ask

We are looking for an enthusiastic Process Operator who wants to work at the Port of Amsterdam. If you like working hard and find it easy to work in a team, we want to hear from you.

• A completed technical education at mbo-3 level (Dutch vocational qualification), such as VAPRO B or an equivalent diploma
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of chemistry

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary between €3,700 and €4,700, including a shift allowance of 28.5%
• Annual bonus of 6% of gross annual salary
• Travel expenses reimbursed at €0.23 per km
