Water Treatment Process Operator

About the job

The client is a company that specialises in recovering valuable raw materials from bottom ash. Their new site in Assendelft runs two installations: one for separation and one for water treatment. As a water treatment process operator, you are responsible for keeping the installations running correctly. You carry out maintenance work and optimise processes. The installations are complex and use the latest technology, so your role matters.

What you'll do

• Prepare installations for production and operate them
• Monitor and adjust the production process
• Carry out quality checks
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and do minor repairs
• Keep the workplace clean and safe

What we ask

• A technical vocational qualification at mbo-3 level or higher (Dutch vocational education level), for example Vapro B or allround operationeel technicus
• Experience with water treatment processes such as reverse osmosis and/or chemical processes
• Strong technical and process skills
• Clear and convincing communication
• Structured and analytical thinking
• Ability to work efficiently
• A team player who works well with others

What we offer

• Basic gross salary of €3,500 to €4,000 per month, including a 14% shift allowance
• Annual bonus (after direct employment by the client)
• 25 days of holiday
• On-call allowance (consignatietoeslag: extra pay for being available outside regular hours)
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre
• Option to grow into a lead operator or supervisor role
