Process operator – fibre and chemicals
Apeldoorn
**About the job**
You work in a modern factory that produces glass fibre nonwoven velour. This is a technical product used worldwide in floor coverings, ceiling panels and industrial applications. The process runs continuously, is varied and technically demanding.
As a process operator with a technical mindset, you keep the line running, prevent deviations and fix breakdowns quickly. You work a lot with chemical and paper-related processes, so no two days are the same.
**What you'll do**
- Set up machines and rebuild production lines within a continuous process.
- Monitor the process and respond immediately when parameters deviate from the standard.
- Detect breakdowns, both straightforward and more complex ones, and solve them together with colleagues.
- Carry out ongoing process and quality checks.
- Do small technical jobs and work closely with the technical department.
- Perform quality measurements in the laboratory.
- Actively contribute ideas for improvements in production and technology.
This is a role where you use both your operator and technical skills.
You enjoy working with modern technology, you spot deviations quickly and you are not afraid to ask questions when something seems off.
**What we ask**
- Completed technical MBO (Dutch vocational qualification at secondary level) or operator qualification A/B/C/D, or technical HBO (Dutch higher vocational qualification).
- Motivation to keep developing through an internal operator and technical training programme.
- Experience in process industry and knowledge of complex processes, such as chemistry, paper or fibre.
- A critical, precise and eager-to-learn attitude. You notice straight away when something works differently than it should.
This role suits both operators with a technical interest and technicians who want to gain more experience in process technology.
You get a broad role where you learn to master both the process and the technology. You work with modern installations, carry a lot of responsibility and have plenty of room to grow.
